Tom brings energy and years of showmanship to the stage.  As a seasoned musician, Tom has many talents which include playing tenor, alto and soprano saxophones, flute, and singing lead/background vocals.  He has played for over four decades in beach, top 40, light rock, all original/fusion, light jazz groups, including (since the early 70’s) Five Pound Smile, Crosswinds, Second Sun, Mama’s Home Cookin’, Second Nature, and The Footnotes.  Tom has enjoyed having the opportunity to record with these groups, as well as guest artist and backup musician on other recordings.   

Tom is originally from Sumter, SC and has lived in Columbia since 1970, working for his current employer since college.  He has been an accomplished wedding/portrait photographer for well over twenty years and operates from his studio in Irmo, SC.  

Toms’ priorities include family, friends, church, music, photography, work usually, but not always in that order.

Tom believes that life is to be lived to the fullest, but not at the expense of others.
