As a saxophone player for over four decades, I have played in various groups and a huge variety of venues since the early sixties. I was introduced to The NDB Band recently by one of their members and a musician friend, Bert Taylor. Since then, Nicki and the guys have been charitable in allowing me to sit in with them on a couple of gigs (for which I am truly honored).
After visiting their website and reading the reviews and comments by their audience and clients, I thought it worthwhile to offer comments from a musician's perspective. These guys are among the most refreshing and impressive I've seen in a long while. I've been blessed to have played with some really fine musicians over the years,
but none surpass the talent and commitment of these four: Nicki, Bert, Jack and David.
They have a great musical cohesion and personal interaction on stage that permeates their music, which is evidenced by the reactions they get and the following they have developed. With Nicki as prime example, NDB's apparent belief is that the audience, no matter how large or small, will have received all they deserve ONLY when the Band has given its absolute max, musically and theatrically.
Like many other bands, music is the product being delivered, but with The NDB Band it comes perfectly packaged in quality, variety, passion and energy! Try it, you'll like it!!

Nicki & DaBlooze recently performed at our Rotary event. They were fantastic. The vocals were great and Nicki's energy is contagious. Thank you for interacting with the audience and making the event a huge success. We hope to hear you again soon.
